As the name suggests, silver was once mined in the Silbertal. Silbi, the mascot of the Kristberg, guides young and old hikers on the trail of mining and the miners. The path leads from the mountain station of the Kristbergbahn on the Kristbergsattel to the Silbertaler Waldschule and then back again. On the way, the hikers learn what silver was all about, what the miners did in the winter months and lots of interesting and interesting information about the winter forest and its inhabitants.
The meeting point is at 3:15 p.m. at the valley station of the Montafon Kristbergbahn or 3:20 p.m. at the mountain station of the Montafon Kristbergbahn.
End of the tour: 5:30 p.m. at the Kristberg Panoramagasthof.
The last descent with the Montafon Kristbergbahn is at 6:40 p.m..
